Mutual affinity insurer UIA Insurance Limited has entered into a partnership with the UK Civil Service Benefits Society (UKCSBS), a friendly society providing financial products to civil servants and their families.
Under the agreement UIA Insurance will provide household, travel and motor insurance to the UKCSBS's insurance subsidiary, UK Friendly.
The partnership will enable UKCSBS to extend the range of personal insurance it offers its 37,000 members.
UIA marketing director Ian Cracknell said: "It is our aim to help the UK Civil Service Benefits Society meet its members' expectations by expanding its general insurance offering at a competitive price and providing a high level of service.
"I also believe that we will work well together as our approach to business is complementary. We are both proud of our mutual status and our dedication to provide quality products and service to our members."
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
