United Insurance Brokers (UIB) has announced the appointment of David Trezies as executive chairman of UIB Holdings UK.
He succeeds Dr Mounir Kabban, who has served as chairman since 1998. Kabban will now take up the post of president of UIB Holdings UK.
Trezies has also been named chairman of United Insurance Brokers, the Lloyd's broking arm of the UIB group of companies.
Bassem Kabban, UIB chief executive, said: “We are delighted that we have been able to engage David to take our business forward in the ever-changing insurance industry. With David's strategic understanding of the industry and his broad international experience built up over many years, he will provide a positive focus for our strategy for growth and development.”
