This week saw a milestone in the life of one of the UK's oldest insurance companies, Cornhill.
As of Monday, the insurer has been officially re-branded Allianz Cornhill, to stress its Teutonic ties.
To mark this event, each member of staff was given a gift pack which included an engraved pen and a pen holder to put it in.
But according to Allianz Cornhill spokesman Mark Bishop, staff began improvising and the holder suddenly became a neat place to rest their mobile phones.
So impressed by their ingenuity, Bishop is offering £50 to intermediaries (to be donated to a charity of their choice) in a competition to find the most imaginative ways to use the pen holder.
