Les Cooper appointed as business consultant
Web Connectivity, the ACORD Gateway provider in the London insurance market, today announces the appointment of Les Cooper as Business Consultant.
Les has had 12 years experience of IT development chiefly in the London Insurance Market and was a principal Analyst Programmer at Wellington and latterly Catlin.
James Willison, Managing Director of Web Connectivity, said: “Les is much admired for the impressive roles he has played in the London insurance industry as a specialist in electronic messaging. As Web Connectivity’s business develops, his contribution will be greatly appreciated.”
Les Cooper said: “I have been involved in messaging in the London Insurance Market for over 12 years now. I witnessed Web Connectivity emerge as the market leader during 2007 and am delighted to join them to progress ACORD messaging in both London and Bermuda. I look forward to the challenges accompanying my position at Web Connectivity.”
He brings with him a number of years experience of XML insurance messaging having worked on a number of projects including:
· The London P2P project in which Wellington were a key member of the group, with a focus on two-way messaging
· The eReinsurance and Wellington integration.
· Market wide messaging initiatives where Wellington were the sole web services participant.
