Lloyd's group Kingsmead has taken poll position with Ferrari.
Its syndicate (2) has clinched a deal with Ferrari to offer exclusive car insurance to the owners of Ferraris and Maseratis bought in Italy, Germany and Switzerland.
The package will be sold through dealerships in Italy Germany and Switzerland and is being facilitated by Marsh in the UK and Italy.
The insurance package represents the first time that Ferrari has come to Lloyd's for this kind of insurance.
Kingsmead underwriter Lee Vanderson said: "This represents a wonderful opportunity for Lloyd's and we're hopeful of expanding the product to other areas internationally with Ferrari."
