How interesting to hear Paul Flynn's view of the UK insurance industry (`Premium tax rise challenged', 21 March, Insurance Times).

His remarks may have been taken out of context, but should certainly be challenged. Does this represent Labour Party policy? I trust the Association of British Insurers (ABI) will respond.

No doubt Mr Flynn follows his own advice and does not insure.

I can't imagine any prudent underwriter knowingly wanting his risk.
