Willis has been named in the Forbes Magazine list of Global Superstars.

Starting with the Forbes Global 2,000 – the largest companies in the world based on a composite ranking of sales, profits, assets and market value – the magazine compared each company to its industry peers along several criteria: long- and short-term return on equity, sales growth, profit growth, return to shareholders and other benchmarks. The magazine then selected five companies per industry and named them Global Superstars in their respective sectors. Willis was the only broker to make the grade in the insurance marketplace.

As reported in Forbes, “These fast-growing, adroit and well-managed companies help set the benchmarks for their respective industries.”

“This recognition is based on the teamwork, dedication and passion that every Willis Associate has shown over the last few years, and we are honored to have made the list,” said Joe Plumeri, chairman and CEO of Willis. “As we embark on the next stage of our growth, we will continue to set the pace for the global insurance broking sector.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
