Winchester Insurance Systems (WISL) has announced that Columbia's largest broker, Heath Lambert, has started using its Transactor Common Application Solution (CAS).

This is being used for its main call centre operation, to provide quotes and processing for motor and fleet cover.

Ray Vincent, WISL's Managing Director said: "This implementation has allowed us to pilot and then launch a CAS solution for the overseas market. This takes the WISL CAS product out of the "regional" market and into a global one."

The system will operate with a panel of seven insurers. The majority of the panel will be supported using WISL's own product management environment.

Fernando Almanza, Heath Lambert Columbia's vice president said: "Personal lines is a vast untapped market and this technology means we can offer the most competitive rates and improved service."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
