Women are less offensive on the road.

After years of being branded the worst drivers, women have finally been vindicated in terms of their driving prowess.

According, to figures from Confused.com men are nearly three times more likely to be convicted for driving offences than women.

The statistics show a huge gulf between the behaviour of men and women on the roads. Over two million men obtained convictions, ranging from death by dangerous driving to speeding, while women fared better with just over 920,000 convictions.

Significantly, men are seven times more likely than women to be caught driving without due care and attention, and twice as likely to be pulled over for failing to obey traffic light signals.

Backchat has an impeccable record, of course.
