Workers Compensation boss James Wrynn is new regulator

Lawyer and Workers Compensation boss James Wrynn will take over from Eric Dinallo as New York insurance superintendent Governor David Paterson has said, Bloomberg reports.

Wrynn will take the position on 20 August as Paterson’s designee, and the state Senate will vote on his confirmation.

“As an experienced insurance lawyer with expansive involvement in government, I am confident that he will serve both the department and state well,” Paterson said of Wrynn in the statement.
