Xchanging is renaming its subsidiaries in preparation for its flotation.
Its London Market insurance sector, Ins-sure Services now becomes Xchanging Ins-sure Services, the human resources division Togethr becomes Xchanging HR Services and its procurement services Pro-cur changes to Xchanging Procurement Services.
Xchanging Ins-sure Services managing director John Benjamin said: "It is not a company change of name, but a branding issue. It is a recognition that the flotation process is going to raise the profile of Xchanging.
"Any company going to float will seek to publicise itself."
He added that the support services group will be floating in the fourth quarter of this year or in early 2002.
A new repository system to modernise the London Market, being created by Xchanging Ins-sure Services, has received interest from 25 companies.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
