XL Insurance's Bermuda-based professional lines operation has added fiduciary liability coverage to its directors' and officers' (D&O) insurance policy.
The expanded policy, called A PLUS D&O, replaces the IDOL product and provides excess difference-in-conditions coverage above an existing D&O liability policy. It also offers broad protection for directors and officers in case they are found personally liable for defence costs and settlements or judgements.
