Brokerage doubles office space as its steps up its recruitment drive

Yutree Underwriting has appointed Chris Parkinson as insurance broker.

Parkinson joins the brokerage which was formed in nine months ago and has doubled its office space to make way for a number new recruits in the coming months.

Parkinson, formerly of Bluefin, will be managing existing broker clients as well as focusing on new business opportunities.

Yutree’s director of underwriting Laura Highsaid: “Chris’ broker knowledge and people skills are a great asset to the underwriting side of our business, and these skills will be put to good use as we build our exclusive employers’, public and products liability and contractors all risks policies in the UK SME market.” 

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
