Zurich has sold Claims Management Group (CMGL) to Sovereign Capital Partners and the management of CMGL.
The deal has received regulatory approvals and was both signed and closed on 31 August 2005, although the parties have agreed to keep terms and conditions confidential.
CMGL will remain under the control of its existing management team with no strategic or operational changes being made as a result of the transaction.
The company said in a statement that CMGL's relationship with Zurich continued to be strong and Zurich remained an important client of CMGL. It also said existing contracts and relationships would continue.
