Trenwick Group Ltd is in provisional liquidation. It is a Bermuda-based specialty insurance and reinsurance organisation with business units located in the US, the UK and Bermuda. The group consists of:LaSalle Re Ltd (in provisional liquidation); Trenwick International Insurance Co Ltd (ceased underwriting and went into run-off in November 2002); and a Lloyd's operation.
The Lloyd's division of the Trenwick Group will be named Talisman on completion of the management buy-out. The management team will take over Trenwick Management Agents with effect from the 2004 year of account.
