History: The Yasuda Fire & Marine Insurance Co was established in 1888 as the first fire insurance company in Japan. Since its foundation, the company has progressed in step with the development of Japanese economy, becoming the first insurance company to place emphasis on automobile insurance.

It has also been expanding and improving insurance claim processing services, broadening its product line-up, including savings-type insurance policies and developing a variety of new insurance products.
