Underwriter joins from RSA to focus on business in midlands and the south
ACE has appointed Steve Baker to its technical risks team as regional construction underwriter.
Baker will be responsible for developing the construction book of business in the midlands and the south.
Baker takes over his role from Andrew Morris, who will be moving to join ACE in Australia at the end of the year.
Baker switched from RSA, where he worked across the Midlands and Southern regions.
He will be based in ACE’s Birmingham branch and will report to Kevin Lutz, UK and Ireland technical lines manager.
Lutz : “In Steve’s appointment we are fortunate to have gained one of the most experienced practitioners in the technical risks area.
“I am confident he will be able to continue developing ACE’s construction footprint across the regions, which firmly established ACE as experts in this field.”
