Two staff join from Allianz

Ageas Insurance, previously Fortis, has appointed James Langdown as claims fraud controller and Neil Walker as motor underwriting manager.

Langdown was previously fraud operations controller at Allianz, while Walker was head of product & quality at the insurer.

Mark Cliff, managing director of Ageas, said: "I'm delighted to announce these significant appointments during an exciting new phase for us.The appointment of James and Neil brings to Ageas considerable experience and will significantly strengthen our personal lines proposition."

Langdown, who previously held claims management positions at Fortis, said: "Having spent 12 years of my career with Fortis, I am delighted to be back and working with the claims team."

Walker said: "I am delighted to have the opportunity to work with the team at Ageas and be part of the energy and success, which I believe will continue."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
