Insurer pledges to develop more products for brokers

Ageas has signed a deal to stay on the panel Broker Network for five years.

The arrangement replaces an contract that had run for three years, and Broker Network said the longer term renewal would give the network and insurer more time to develop exclusive products and schemes for its broker members. Ageas has worked with Broker Network for 20 years.

Insurer director Dene Smith said: “Our relationship with Ageas has strengthened over the last two decades and we will continue to work closely together to drive growth across both personal and commercial lines businesses.”

Ageas retail and distribution chief executive Mark Cliff: “Our joint customers will continue to benefit from high quality products including motor, home, travel, commercial vehicle, commercial and motorcycle at competitive rates, backed by our market leading claims service.

“We are committed to providing more products to more brokers, and our new five year partnership with Broker Network allows us to do just that.”
