Alan and Thomas Insurance Brokers has formed a credit insurance division.
Joe Purver, who previously worked for Euler Trade Indemnity, Bowring Marsh and Jardine Lloyd Thompson, will head up the division.
The company said the division would offer clients an assessment of their major customers, using credit vetting under a typical policy, to give clients an awareness of what products were available.
