Allianz Cornhill has restructured its business into three new trading divisions.
The move follows the announcement earlier this year that Andrew Torrance will succeed Ray Treen as CEO on 1 July.
From July Allianz Cornhill will split into new trading divisions; Allianz Cornhill Commercial, Allianz Cornhill Personal and Allianz Cornhill Specialities.
The restructuring will see Chris Hanks becoming general manager, Allianz Cornhill Commercial. Dr Rüdiger Schäfer will become general manager at Allianz Cornhill Personal, and Gareth Jones will become general manager, Allianz Cornhill Specialities.
Torrance said: "Over the past few years personal and commercial lines have been traded in increasingly different ways and therefore we feel it is appropriate to establish distinct trading units to focus on each of these markets.
"Our new Specialities Division will comprise three businesses, animal health, legal protection and schemes which are focused on their respective niche markets and within which we are eager to grow."
