From trade union lawyers to insurer-run legal advice service
Allianz Legal Protection has poached Richard Simpkins from trade union lawyers Thompsons to supervise its 24-hour legal advice Lawphone helpline.
Simpkins will supervise and monitor Lawphone services, which covers legal advice to individuals and businesses. He is also responsible for the professional development of all advisors
A solicitor, Simpkins was a member of the employment rights unit at Thompsons. In addition to his recent role, Simpkins has more than eight year's experience in the legal expenses field.
