Allianz Engineering has been selected to provide insurance and inspection services to the City of London, covering landmarks such as the Tower of London, the Barbican and Mansion House.

The company said that following a successful tender process, the company will now insure and inspect plant and equipment at Tower Bridge, the Barbican Centre, the Old Bailey, Guildhall, Museum of London, Billingsgate Market, Leadenhall Market and Spitalfields Market.

The insurance cover also includes loss of revenue following breakdown of plant and equipment at the Barbican Centre. Jardine Lloyd Thompson is the broker.

Allianz Engineering currently insures the London Borough of Tower Hamlets and recently won the contract for insurance and inspection services at the new Wembley Stadium.
