Vehicle accident repair specialists Alton Cars and Minster Cars have acquired Knaresborough Body Repairs for an undisclosed sum.
Alton Cars said the acquisition strengthened its presence in the Yorkshire and North Humberside regions.
Alton acted for Churchill, AXA, esure, Provident and the AA as well as Toyota and Rover, the company said.
The company said the acquisition was part of its strategic plans for continuous expansion.
It brings the group's projected turnover to over £7m per year, with 13 staff joining the Alton group.
