Newly formed Wellington Specialty Insurance has been assigned a financial strength rating of ‘A-' and an issuer credit rating of ‘a-' by ratings agency AM Best.
The ratings agency has also assigned an issuer credit rating of ‘a-' to UK-based Wellington Underwriting, the ultimate parent of Wellington Specialty.
The outlook for the Wellington Specialty financial strength rating and both issuer credit ratings is stable.
