Stock Exchange soared yesterday for 99 out of top 100

Insurer Amlin was the only company in the FTSE100 not to see its share price rise yesterday after the success of the G20 summit, according to The Guardian’s market forced blog.

The FTSE rose 120 points to pass the 4000 mark for the first time in more than six weeks.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
