Former telecoms specialist to focus on central and southern UK
Aon Risk Control Consultants has appointed Bob Matthews as business development consultant.
His remit will be to provide risk mitigation advice to clients across the central and southern UK regions.
Matthews previously spent more than eight years as head of risk management with O2, where he was a director of the company's insurance captive, and Hutchison 3G.
He was responsible for the development and implementation of risk management frameworks, including business continuity, property loss control and the provision of a global insurance programme.
Bob initially trained as a mechanical engineer, and is a member of the Business Continuity Institute (BCI). He has also sat on a variety of committees for both the BCI and AIRMIC.
