Jim Herbert to head the central region.
Aon UK has appointed Jim Herbert as regional director for the central region.
He will be responsible for client acquisition and service, delivering business results and developing the local teams in Aon’s Birmingham, Leicester and Manchester offices.
Herbert joins from Heath Lambert, having previously worked for Marsh. In both companies he held a national role as development director. Bringing over 20 years’ experience in insurance, he has a proven track record in achieving results for clients and boosting sales, with a deep understanding of the insurance markets.
He will report into Robert Brown, CEO of Aon’s Corporate division.
Brown said: “Jim has the right people, client and operational skills to lead the region. He also has proved his ability to deliver business results, develop unmatched teams, bring innovation and deliver distinctive client value. He has the passion, focus and drive that will lead the region toward our goal of being the best local, regional and national broker in the UK.”
