Broker’s former EMEA head named chief executive of AXA Corporate Solutions

Rob Brown

AXA has hired former Aon EMEA broking head Rob Brown as chief executive of AXA Corporate Solutions.

AXA Corporate Solutions insures and provides risk management solutions to large multinational corporations.

Brown left Aon in October 2015 after 15 years with the broking group.

Brown will replace current AXA Corporate Solutions head Philippe Rocard, who has been named chairman and chief executive of AXA’s Moroccan operation and head of sub-Saharan Africa, on 1 March.

In addition to heading up Aon’s broking division across EMEA, Brown was chief executive of Aon UK Ltd, the UK-regulated company that contains Aon’s UK risk businesses - Aon Risk Solutions UK and Aon Benfield UK.

Before that he was chief executive of Aon Risk Solutions UK.

AXA Corporate Solutions chairman Paul Evans said: “I am convinced that Rob’s experience and deep knowledge of the market, his ability to understand and address the expectations of his clients, and his recognized leadership make him the ideal person to lead AXA Corporate Solutions in this next stage of development.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
