APC strengthens northern team

Commercial insurance underwriting agency, APC, has appointed Neil Jenkinson (pictured) as its northern region business development manager.

Jenkinson has joined to support APC’s expanding panel of brokers from Singers Asset Finance where he was a development manager. Previously he worked for 1 Answer Network, Kaupthing Bank and Close Premium Finance.

One of three business development managers, he will be tasked with driving growth in the North and helping brokers to benefit from APC’s move to area rating and increased competitiveness in low risk areas.

APC’s head of business development Derek Russell said: “Neil is very well known to brokers in the North and we are delighted to welcome him to APC. We have seen a considerable increase in business from this region due to our switch to area rating, and believe that with his help we continue to drive this expansion.”
