Scheme for National Landlord Association will cover tax investigations
Arc Legal Assistance, the legal costs insurance provider, has launched its first tax protection scheme for the National Landlord Association (NLA).
The scheme, provided in partnership with the NLA’s brokers, Hamilton Fraser Insurance Solutions, will provide cover for the professional fees associated with Inland Revenue and HM Customs and Excise investigations. Arc’s policy will cover Full Enquires, Aspect Enquires and VAT Disputes.
Arc said its bespoke approach and experience in developing legal costs insurance for the landlord sector had "enabled the company to provide an effective scheme offering a higher limit of professional indemnity and a lower excess than the NLA’s previous scheme provider".
