MGA founder joins board of support services provider

Arista founder and former chairman Charles Earle has joined underwriting agency support services provider Advent as non-executive chairman.

Earle was chairman of commercial underwriting agency Arista, now owned by Towergate, until his retirement in April this year.

He is also a co-founder and director of the Managing General Agents’ Association and board member of the Networks and MGAs advisory board of Biba.

Advent managing director David Hill said: “Charles is a consummate insurance professional with a track record as an exceptional leader of profitable, high growth and start-up general insurance businesses.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
