New role filled by ex-Tasker head of operations in the changes
Advent Insurance Management has appointed Jack Smith to the newly created role of head of operations as part of a wider management team restructure.
Prior to Advent Smith worked for Tasker Insurance Group, where he held various roles since 2002, most recently as head of operations.
Smith has over 35 years of insurance experience and will be based in Advent’s Chelmsford offices.
Among the other changes in the restructure, founding partner Jerry McArthur has become chairman, with fellow founder Paul Bermingham has assumed his former role as managing director.
Bermingham said: “Advent is growing rapidly, with projects such as the LMA’s Gemini expert-expenses management system and increasing adoption of our Advantage DA claims and reporting platform.
“The management changes announced today will fortify Advent during a period of accelerated growth, while crucially ensuring service continues to be seamless for our clients in London and worldwide.
“We are extremely pleased to welcome Jack, who will be a huge asset in meeting customer demand and supporting Advent through the next exciting phase of our development.”
