AIG Europe today said it would make special exceptions to help all its travel insurance policyholders affected by the Aisan Tsunami.
The company said it would extend policy cover to meet all reasonable curtailment costs directly caused by the disaster.
It also said it would offer clients the services of AIG Medical & Rehabilitation's (AIG MR) healthcare professionals and vocational experts to provide counselling services for policyholders who were involved in the disaster.
AIG MR will initially telephone the policyholder to discuss how they may be able to help and to arrange counselling if appropriate.
