New software will give history of vehicles

Autonet Insurance and Cheshire Datasystems Ltd have developed a new vehicle history checking tool.

Information has been sourced from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency, the Association of British Insurers and the Police National Computer for recorded stolen vehicles.

Autonet managing director Ian Donaldson (pictured) said: “This is a great piece of software for people to use when purchasing a new vehicle. It’s a hard enough decision to make as it is with the variety of vehicles available on the market.

“With this information now readily available on our website you will have peace of mind that the vehicle is legitimate before you hand over your money.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
