Insurer taps Morgan Stanley for new strategy director

Aviva has appointed Morgan Stanley banker Jason Windsor as group strategy director, directly responsible for leading the UK insurer’s strategy and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) teams. He will report to Pat Regan, Aviva’s chief financial officer.

Windsor is currently managing director of Morgan Stanley’s financial institutions group with specific responsibility for UK insurance, including advising Aviva. He also advises banks and asset managers. Windsor has been at Morgan Stanley for the past 15 years in a variety of roles, including corporate finance and capital markets, and Aviva said he has extensive multinational experience.

“Jason’s deep advisory experience in international financial services and his strong strategic focus will be a tremendous addition to Aviva’s management team,” said Regan in a statement.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
