Stirzaker will be based at National Trading Centre in Bolton

Appoint, appointment, hand, handshake, shake, new, join

AXA Commercial Lines and Personal Intermediary has appointed Louisa-Jayne Stirzaker as Simple products trading manager based at the National Trading Centre in Bolton, its dedicated centre for smaller independent brokers.

In her newly created role, Stirzaker, who joins from Royal Mail, will be working with AXA’s brokers to ensure that existing and new products in the Simple range meet their customers’ needs as well as making sure that the system is simple to use. She will manage the product team to deliver a fast and effective response to broker queries and providing the information they need to support conversations with their clients.

AXA’s National Trading Centre Manager Chris Maguire said: “Our National Trading Centre here in Bolton is the natural home for our Simple range of products and we’re delighted to welcome Louisa to our team. She has a wide range of experience from different industries of both operational and business change. I am confident that she will be a valuable addition to our business, bringing the right skills and knowledge to support the successful implementation of our Simple strategy and grow our commercial e-trading capabilities.”

In her role at Royal Mail, Stirzaker delivered a major transformation programme in the delivery and collection function across the North West. Prior to that, she was associate director of customer service at HBOS, where she led a large operational team and ran a number of customer experience initiatives.
