Firm targeting SME brokers worldwide
Barbon Insurance Group has unveiled plans for a worldwide network of partner brokers to provide local insurance services for UK-based clients with subsidiaries abroad and vice versa.
The company’s property and commercial division has already teamed up with a broker in eastern Europe and is in negotiations with several other businesses in the region. It is targeting independent SME brokers in Denmark, Germany, Italy, the USA, South Africa and Nigeria and has a “hit list” of about 20 commercial property brokers.
The company, which recently opened an office in London, has business units in Croydon, Bordon, Lincoln, Chelmsford, Bournemouth and Glasgow.
The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
