Broker to name successor this week or early next
Barbon finance director Kevin Withington will leave the broker in early 2014 after handing over to his successor.
Barbon is planning to announce Withington’s successor this week or early next, Insurance Times understands.
Withington opted for redundancy rather than relocate to Lincoln from Barbon’s current headquarters in Croydon.
It emerged in October that Barbon would close its Croydon head office in January 2014 and relocate its legal, claims, human resources and finance teams to Lincoln.
The decision to relocate followed Barbon’s sale of its property and commercial division to Arthur J Gallagher in May this year, leaving Barbon to concentrate on its lettings insurance business.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
