Changes made to accommodate 430,000 policy base

BDML has announced some key personnel changes as the demand for their white labelling capabilities continues to grow.

Tony Martin has been appointed to the BDML board with overall responsibility for sales and marketing activity. Tony was previously responsible for the subsidiary company, BDML Insurance Solutions. Lisa Joy has also joined from Premium Credit as Senior Account Manager.

Managing director Mark Townsend said: "Our business has grown considerably over the past 18 months – BDML now has around 430,000 policies under management through 82 branded general insurance facilities.

"In 2007 we also opened a second site in Colchester and I’m delighted with the way our new team there has responded so far. New orders for 2008 are also looking very healthy so the time is right to strengthen our senior teams. Tony and Lisa will provide valuable breadth and depth of experience to help us best serve both existing and new customers. We look forward to announcing the details of some of our new contracts in the near future."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
