Bob Beckett's return to the broker market looks certain to be helped by the location of his offices.
The former Beckett Group chief is based just across the road from the Beckett Group offices, which he sold to Country Mutual Insurance Brokers in 2003.
A number of Country Mutual staff have already jumped ship to join Beckett. It clearly won't be too much effort to persuade a few more to leave. He just needs to stand at the entrance and wave them over.
