Berrymans Lace Mawer (BLM) has been appointed to the British Railways Board (BRB) panel of legal advisors following a recent tender process.
BLM will be advising the BRB on a wide range of legal issues but will concentrate on pre-privatisation industrial disease claims including asbestos, noise-induced hearing loss and vibration white finger claims.
Senior solicitor Nigel Lock, will be running the London-based BRB team within BLM's existing occupational disease unit. The unit is headed by partner Nicholas Pargeter.
