Transactor London Market to target MGAs

Insurance software house Transactor Global Solutions (TGSL) today announces a joint venture with G2 Associates and its formal entry to the London Insurance Market.

Transactor London Market (TLM) will provide tailored software solutions specifically targeting MGAs (managing general agents) operating under delegated binding authorities.

Based in Seething Lane, City of London, TLM will give TGSL its fourth UK office and an important London presence for the group. In addition to his role as TGSL’s Commercial Director, Chris Newman becomes chief executive of the new company.

Newman said, “This is TGSL’s first step into the London Market and the partnership with G2 is designed to provide existing and new MGA entrants into the market with a complete turnkey solution for their businesses with access to Transactor, arguably the industry’s most configurable and functional enterprise software in the insurance sector.”

G2 Associates is an established provider of IT consultancy and project management services to the London Insurance Market. Garry Watson, managing director of G2 Associates, said: “This is an exciting opportunity and a major milestone in our development.  In addition to our consultancy services, we have been working hard to develop the G2 brand and to expand our service offering in the London Market.

“We were looking to complement our existing partnerships with first class suppliers by agreeing a strategic arrangement with a dynamic software provider. TGSL has the same attitude to quality and service as G2 and we believe that the superb functionality and flexibility of the Transactor product will make G2 and TLM a major force in London in the coming months and years”.

Ray Vincent, chairman of TLM and chief executive of TGSL Group, added: “We have a significant presence amongst the insurance broking community with a recognised leading product. Our formation of a specialist London Market company further endorses our commitment to providing the insurance market with access to leading edge technology.”
