The former director general of MI5 played down the threat of cyber-terrorism at the opening of the final day of the Biba conference.

Dame Stella Rimington said that cyber-terrorism was "too subtle" compared to violent means.

She also said that terrorists would continue to focus on infrastructure, government and event targets in the future.
