Scheme offers enhanced commission for Biba members
Biba has teamed up with South Essex Insurance Brokers (SEIB) to offer an equestrian insurance scheme.
Under the deal, SEIB will be the exclusive provider of equestrian insurance to the broking association’s members.
SEIB offers all forms of equestrian insurance including cover for horses, horse-boxes, riding schools and livery yards.
SEIB deputy chairman Barry Fehler said: “We are pleased to be working with Biba and its members; SEIB is the first ex-IIB broker to be appointed as a scheme provider, so another achievement of which we are proud.”
Biba technical services manager Mike Hallam added: “We are pleased to welcome SEIB on board with its specialist equestrian scheme.
“Biba members will now be able to benefit from the skills, experience and speciality that SEIB offers through the scheme – one of the many benefits of being a Biba broker.”
The scheme provides a number of benefits to Biba members. These include guaranteed access to the scheme with no minimum premium limit or case numbers, preference to Biba members for quotations and enhanced commission for Biba members.
SEIB holds the underwriting authority for the scheme and offers an in-house claims service for horse insurance.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
