Biba is organising a series of FSA compliance workshops which kick off in Leeds on 29 April.

The events include the Biba Compliance Initiative, in conjunction with RW Associates, and a bespoke competence assessment system. Several guest speakers are lined up to give their view of the evolution of FSA regulation

Biba chief executive Mike Williams said "Due to Biba's involvement with various FSA study groups, coupled with the recent consultation papers, we are now in a position to obtain a good indication of the form that the new regime will take.

"Compliance is the most important issue facing brokers today and failure to comply is not an option."

Meetings, on this occasion, are open to non-members, at a charge, to enable as many as possible to participate.
