Newly elected chairman of the Anglia regional branch of Biba, Paul Chubbuck, has begun a drive to re-establish links with grassroot members.
Chubbuck, a director of Beckett Risk Management and former President of the Cambridge Chartered Institute of Insurance, has set out an agenda to re-establish
contact with the regional membership, promote a series of topical meetings with insurance industry speakers, and offer support to brokers in meeting FSA compliance regulations.
He said: "We have started with a bang. Our recent annual dinner had Branko Bjelobaba, General Manager of the GISC, as a guest speaker, and we have started our events programme with 'Regulation - failure is not an option', to be followed by 'Insurer Carrier Security' in
September with a look at solvency issues and broker's duties to their clients in these circumstances."
