John Blakemore, the man chosen by liquidator Pricewaterhousecoopers to lead the run-off Independent Insurance, has resigned.
It is understood that Blakemore has resigned to join another, as yet unamed, company.
His replacement is Keith Blanc. Blanc was head of Independent's personal lines business.
