Jon Cox joins rival broking group as associate director
Broker Building and Land Guarantees (BLG) has poached latent defects underwriter Jon Cox from Oval Insurance.
Cox joins BLG, which specialises in building guarantees, as an associate director. He has 26 years’ experience as an insurance broker.
BLG’s founders worked at Oval before defecting from the consolidator to set up their new company in 2006.
BLG is a member of the TEn network.
“I am delighted to have attracted someone of Jon’s calibre to our team,” BLG director James Russell said in a statement. “His knowledge of this sector of the market is second to none and his personal approach to doing business complements our own.”
