Bluefin hires underwriting product manager from Arista

Bluefin has hired Sian Rolfe as underwriting product manager as it prepares to launch its managing general agent.

Rolfe will report to head of underwriting Paul Drake, who joined the broker in May.

Rolfe was previously a senior underwriter at Arista, with responsibility for managing its existing products as well as researching and developing new ones.

Before Arista, she was a business account executive at NIG Insurance and responsible for onsite underwriting.

Drake said: “Sian’s experience and knowledge will be incredibly beneficial as we ready our underwriting business for operation and build a competitive market proposition beyond that. She will bring more discipline and focus to Bluefin’s product development in support of that ambition and I look forward to working with her as we grow the team and prepare for launch.”
